About Meredith Hubbard, PsyD

Meredith Hubbard, PsyD, is a Doctor of Psychology specializing in Behavioral Health And Psychotherapy at Advanced Pediatrics. Since opening their doors in 2001, the private pediatric practice has earned an exemplary reputation for excellence in pediatric care in Vienna, Virginia, and throughout the National Capital Region.

She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Tulane University and her Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Texas A&M University in College Station. Since graduation, she has worked in private and government-funded residential treatment facilities and for the US military with families in outpatient therapy.

Dr. Hubbard worked as a sexual assault advocate for victims of abuse in California before returning to school to obtain her Doctorate of Psychology from Nova Southeastern University, during which she completed an internship at the Advocate Family Care Network-Childhood Trauma Treatment Program.

Her clinical interests encompass all aspects of mental health. She is a certified Kazdin Parent Management Training Therapist. She has been trained in the treatment of problematic sexualized behavior, the administration of the Autism Diagnostic Observation Scale, and the use of Dialectical Behavior Therapy.

Dr. Hubbard lives in Fairfax, Virginia, with her husband and two children. Dr. Hubbard also lived with her family in Seoul, South Korea, where she provided counseling to adults and children at an outpatient community clinic.

She enjoys traveling, cooking, and doing puzzles with her family.
