Leila Parikh Binder, MD, MS, MPH, FAAP, is a board-certified pediatrician with more than 25 years of experience caring for children and supporting families from infancy through adolescence. She provides compassionate and thoughtful care to patients at Advanced Pediatrics in Vienna, Virginia.
Dr. Binder earned her Doctor of Medicine and Master of Public Health degrees from the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. She completed her pediatric residency at the Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters in Norfolk, Virginia. Prior to medical school, she graduated cum laude from Yale University, where she earned combined bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Molecular Biochemistry and Biophysics.
Throughout her career, Dr. Binder has practiced in a wide range of healthcare settings, including private practices, multi-specialty medical groups, hospital-based pediatric care, and military medical facilities. Most recently, she cared for military families as an outpatient pediatrician at the TRICARE Prime Clinic in Virginia Beach.
