About Tanya Reynolds, FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC

Tanya Reynolds, FNP-BC & PMHNP-BC, is a dual board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in Behavioral Health and Psychotherapy and Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine at Advanced Pediatrics.

Since opening their doors in 2001, the private pediatric practice has earned an exemplary reputation for excellence in pediatric care in Vienna, Virginia, and throughout the National Capital Region.

Tanya earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from George Mason University. Tanya completed her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Chamberlain University for her Family Nurse Practitioner Specialization and Maryville University for her Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Specialization. She came to us with 20+ years of pediatric experience including Pediatric Trauma, Emergency Room, and in-patient adolescent treatment.

Her clinical interests include working with all ages, especially adolescents, and facilitating COPE groups (Creating Opportunities for Personal Empowerment). She is also interested in breaking down the stigma of mental health in Hispanic culture. She is bilingual in Spanish and English.

Tanya lives in Bristow, Virginia with her husband, 3 kids, and her dog Lola. She enjoys baking in her free time.
